Step into our virtual conference center. We are excited to have you with us as we celebrate Jane Austen, explore her youthful writings as never before, and connect with JASNA friends, old and new.

We are grateful to our speakers, who quickly adapted their presentations on "Jane Austen's Juvenilia: Reason, Revolution, and Romanticism," to the virtual format. Complementing the juvenilia content are new takes on favorite JASNA traditions and new features that take advantage of the online format. By Sunday, we hope you will agree this was a weekend "well spent!"

Finding Your Way Around the Site

The Main Stage is the equivalent of our general session room at an in-person AGM. You can find it quickly in the main menu. Go to the Main Stage to:

Attend Opening Sessions and watch the premiere showings of Plenary Talks and Special Events. To participate in the Q&A for a specific presentation, be sure to watch its scheduled premiere.

Attend most Social Events, such as the Toast to Jane Austen, the Virtual Promenade, and the Salon Roundtable Chats. (Exception: to attend the Saturday Social Hour in the Assembly Rooms, use the Zoom link on the Social Scene's Events page.)

Attend the JASNA Business Meeting and the JASNA Canada Business Meeting.

After they have debuted on the Main Stage, these presentations will reside on their "home" pages—Plenary Speakers, Special Events, or Social Events—where you can watch them again or catch up on the talks you missed.

The following presentations and events will premiere off the Main Stage. Please go to the designated "home" pages to view them at the assigned time.

Breakout Session talks debut and reside on the Breakouts page. If you'd like to participate in the text chat Q&A, be sure to attend a session when it first debuts.

All Inside Jane Austen's World videos will be available on their "home" page when the AGM officially opens on Friday, October 9. You may watch these whenever you choose during the next 30 days.

To attend the Saturday Social Hour in the Assembly Rooms, use the Zoom link on the Social Scene Events page. You do not need a Zoom account.

Join in the live games Saturday evening using the Zoom links on the Jane Austen Bingo page, the Regency Parlor Games page (for Wordplay), and the "Run Mad as Often as You Choose" Scavenger Hunt page. You do not need a Zoom account. Quizzes can be taken at any time during the AGM weekend.
